The Internet as a Social Contract

Hey Guys, I am new to this thread and am working on a potential thesis dealing with the internet and how activity on it can be viewed through and described by versions of the social contract. I was hoping to get input from as many of you as possible in regards to your views about how the social contract might be realized through internet communities. I am specifically thinking of communities such as lulzsec, anonymous, 4chan, reddit and if any of you have suggestions for other communities please post!
