Worth it to switch from OOS 4.0.3 to SultanCM13?

I've tried several ROMs since I got my OP3, but I've never been thrilled with performance of any of them except for Oxygen OS. My only problem is Oxygen OS is that it doesn't seem to have the greatest battery life. It's not awful, but I'd like it to last longer than it does.

It seems the general consensus from this sub is that SultanCM13 has the best battery life to performance ratio, which is a ROM I've never tried before. But I'm worried I'll miss the features of Nougat. I don't use split screen often, but when I do, it's really handy, and I love Quick Replies.

What I'm wondering is are there ways to get those features if I go with Sultan's ROM? Or will I have to choose between battery and features?

Also, for those of you who have gone from OOS4 to SultanCM, how happy are you with the switch?
