Specific disadvantages of a delta?

I know there won't be reviews out, and don't want to wait much longer then I have to to get one of the new monoprice printers (either the mini or delta). I'm in no way technologically incapable, but would there be a specific reason outside of different settings to go with the mini instead?

If it helps, i'll be building an enclosure for both. Looking for build volume, but the Maker Select v2.1 is a bit outside my range (unless there's a sale).
