Eczema medication
My soon to be 4 month old has some really nasty eczema spreading. The pediatrician contacted a dermatologist who prescribed alcometasone and tacrolimus. The paperwork with the tacrolimus is frightening. It repeatedly says children under 2 should not use it due to a weakened immune system (there are cases where people who have used it have gotten cancer).
I've already started an email to the pediatrician, but was wondering if any of you have tried this medicine for your LOs? I imagine it will come to a "weigh the risk vs the comfort" and I'm terrified. Thanks in advance!
