Need a car for 7m - 1 year

Hello!

I have a Tesla reservation due in June. Even anticipating some setbacks, that's not long.

My car died.

Option 1 Rent a car. But probably will spend more in fee than depreciation would cause.

Option 2: Buy then sell.

I have cash on hand, what sort of car should I be shooting for that will depreciate the least.

Camry/Carolla? If I'm shooting for 5-6k, what year/mileage should be best? (Any years to avoid?)
