The Red Boots (a complaint)

While I get it's a joke... why do they show Ted wearing the Red boots wrong.

I'm sorry, but I grew up wearing cowboy boots, riding horses and living on a dairy farm. You don't tuck your jeans into them unless you are going to be wading into sludge to get something out.

So I hate those damn boots. Every time I want to yell "people wouldn't make fun of you if you would wear them right!"
