What color watch band to wear with dark chili shoes?

I own a pair of dark chili AEs and LOVE wearing them. The only real problem I have is that I am a huge stickler for matching my leathers, and I've had no luck finding a matching (or coordinating) leather band watch. Any suggestions? Like, would a brown band be okay?
