Can we please look into Stealth and the incredibly long detection range?

Have played rogues primarily throughout my wow career. Currently leveling an alt one and noticed the stealth detection is way too aggressive. A mob 5 levels below me is picking me up from a range that would be reserved for mobs a couple levels higher.

Noticed other discussions/bug tracker/etc on this topic, but nothing super recent. Any Dev comments/assistance? Thanks kindly.
