Venting--I'm pretty much done with retropie
I've been working on a pi zero system in a NES cart since December, getting the parts, getting the roms, trying to set up my SNES30 bluetooth working. It's been hurdles after hurdles and not knowing command line has been frustrating.
I didn't realize I couldn't move my PC-scraped roms over with all images and information. Moving the files to the Pi didn't move the scraped information over.
Latest trouble, getting a Wifi dongle but can't set up Wifi, assuming that the dongle isn't on the list or compatible with Rasperry Pi. It's a dollar throw away Ebay dongle but still, this is too much. Just trying to build the system to work has been a headache. I thought 2.5 months to build the system for an early march b-day present for my bro. was plenty of time. I was wrong. Either I go find and buy a new dongle, hoping it's not from China because that'll take forever, or just send the cart with roms and just hope the unscraped roms are enough.
Don't get how non-programmers did it all. Maybe I should've just gotten a Pi3 and not worried about fitting into a NES cart. Sigh.
