[WSIB] [PC or XB1] RTS/Survival/Scavenging game

I'm in this weird mood where I'm beating ME Trilogy with my girlfriend before Andromeda, but while we do that I'm looking for something more, basic?

Basically I'm just looking for suggestions that may tickle my fancy.

I love RTS games, but currently I'm having a difficult time wanting to sit down to play long Sc2 ladder games or EU4 games. The Sc2 Arcade is fairly barren but that is probably my all time favorite thing currently.

Very fond of 'Nexus Wars', 'Phantom' and 'The Thing'.

Besides that, I really enjoy everything that fits into survival/Scavenging. Bonus points if it involves finding other people and having to fight over resources, but teams are viable (this is what has stopped me from getting Ark or Rust).

I've always liked the Minecraft, Hunger Games style 'guerrilla warfare' and I enjoy Fallout, but it's more of an RPG.

Ive heard of H1Z1 King of the Hill and The Long Dark, but the demo for The Long Dark seemed very slow (I was in a wooded winter area and walked around for about an hour, found a single Hut with nothing in it)

Any suggestions?
