Next steps for my first beer?

I started a Brewer's Best Kölsch kit brew almost two weeks ago. I moved to secondary after five days. I just tested gravity and it is at 1.010 (started at 1.041).

The steps in the instructions say to bottle around two weeks (I am going to keg), but I've read some stuff online that says I should lager it for a few weeks.

Should I keg/carb it and let it set awhile in the keg or perhaps just place the carboy in the fridge for awhile prior to kegging it?
