Found a few interesting items in my Grandpa's garage...

My grandfather was a WWII veteran and passed away close to 20 years ago. My grandma recently asked my dad and I to clean out the garage for her, and we came across a ton of awesome stuff that he had collected from all over the world.

Among these things were a sword, a machete, a bayonet, and a couple of shells that I couldn't identify.

If anyone could help paint a picture of where/when he possibly acquired these and what exactly they are, I would be so grateful! I'm so interested and I haven't had any luck searching online.
