We are the most overlooked team in the NBA
Dear Fellow Wizards Fans,
We are the most overlooked team in the NBA and I love it. Top to bottom we have gotten no recognition from the NBA and I wouldn't have it any other way.
• John Wall preseason wasn't named to be one of the best passers in the leauge by all 30 GMs despite the fact that this will be the 3rd straight season he has averaged over 10 APG.\
• Bradley Beal should absolutely be an All-Star, he should have been one to start, but its even more ridiculous that Adam Silver put Melo in over him. Brad is averaging 22.3 PPG with an eFG% of .559 while Melo sits at a comfortable 23.4 PPG while at .499 eFG% but whatever Melo is still better apparently.
• Otto Porter is literally the best 3pt shooter in the league this season and he didn't even get a call for the 3pt contest. He should atleast get second in Most Improved player of the season but i seriously doubt he even gets a look.
• Markieff Morris was left off a top 30 PF's in the league list which is stupid, he averages like 18/7/3 and you're telling me he's not better than Trevor Booker get the fuck out of here.
• Scott Brooks should absolutely be Coach of the Year IMO, D'antonio has an argument but it should come between the two of them, but I have yet to hear any of the national commentators even bring up the possibility.
• Marcin Gortat has been one of the most consistent centers in the league and yet nobody brings up his beautiful chemisty with John Wall.
• Zach Lowe hasn't even written an article about us in like 2 years.
• Any Wizards postgame thread rarely makes it to the front page of R/nba unless were playing one of the most popular teams in the NBA
• We are starting to get some love recently but overall to the casual fan we are by far the most overlooked team and it has seemed to light a spark under these guys asses which is why this is the best Wizards basketball I’ve ever seen in my entire life
Moral of the story, please keep overlooking us NBA and we just might be playing in June.
