Long term effects of deportations...

So I'm thinking about what deporting these felons and securing the border is going to lead to and I'm thinking it's going to be the opposite of what liberals are expecting.

Trump isn't going to deport all of the illegals. He's going after the felons, so some of them will be staying; the right ones. The liberals and the media think that this is going to create a bitterness between Mexican immigrants and the US, and I think (short term) they may be right, but I think long term it's going to generate American pride. Immigrants are finally going to appreciate the opportunity to live in the US. I think we're going to stop seeing these immigrants flying Mexican flags and start seeing them embrace being American.
