How Do I See My Notifications From StreamLabs On My Stream?

I setup my StreamLabs notifications and I got a new follower when I was streaming, but I didn't see/hear the notification from my stream. Do I need the widget window open to hear it? I could see from my StreamLabs dashboard that they followed, but I didn't hear or see the notification on my stream. I actually don't know if it popped up on the stream at all. I saved the changes I made on StreamLabs, just wondering if I missed a step.

Thanks in advance.
