Need help deciding tickets to buy for WorldWired Tour

So I am HYPED Metallicas touring with Avenged and this will be my second concert. I wanna go on the field and get right in front of the stage but I dont know how to do that. Do you just buy the field general ticket and is it first come first serve to who gets to the front of the field? Thanks!
