A letter to a future girlfriend

Dear Future Girlfriend,

I don't know if I'll ever meet you

And the truth is, I don't have much to offer. I would be lying if I said I knew anything at all about love

I'm stubborn, afraid to ask for help, I'm sensitive, and I get sad a lot

What I do have is honesty. I'll always tell you exactly what I'm feeling. I'll let you in even if I'm afraid to

I'll be super supportive of your dreams and passions. If you want to do something that seems impossible, I'll believe in you every step of the way

I'm not much of a cook, but I'd put in the effort for you. And I'd make sure we always made time for adventures and long walks and random dancing :D

If we have a disagreement, I'll try to talk it out. I'm not a fan of passive aggression

I'll always make sure you feel sexy and wanted, whether you're wearing lingerie or your favorite hoodie

I'll probably give you a forehead kiss at least once a day

And I'll give you space when you need it because I need mine, too

Mostly I just want to say that my heart is open, and that I'm working on taking care of me so I can be my best self. Hopefully when I meet you the timing will be right. And hopefully then I'll be ready.
