Spoofers key farming shard portals

It is nice to see that NIA is taking a stronger stance against spoofers. We have had several banned within 24 hours of spoofing in our area. For the past 2 nights, we have been babysitting a shard in secured locations that close at dark. While no one has spoofed the shard portal, we have noticed that xm around the portal has disappeared and regenerated numerous times over the course of the night. Seems pretty obvious that spoofers are key farming the portal. Is there anything NIA can go about spoofers hacking keys? I'm sure they know what accounts hack portals and when.
