How do you view claims from scholars that the Bible borrows from even older ancient stories or myths?

Has anyone done any research into this? In a certain course I'm taking, we're learning about how the Bible may have been influenced by ancient myths from other cultures

What do you guys think about stuff like this? Obviously you guys are gonna say that the scholars are wrong and that it's the other way around, but have you visited any sites or watched any videos that explain this stuff?
