Dead Space 3 Kinesis Doors Sound Glitch

Was there ever a fix to the door sound glitch? Originally played this on PS3, never had an issue with the kinesis doors. Got this on PC and it's driving me insane, I literally can't play the game it's so bad. Please tell me someone found a way to rectify this supremely annoying problem.

For those that don't know what I'm talking about, the PC version of DS3 has an issue with the kinesis (manual) doors in the first half of the game where they make this horrifying noise, (like a thousand jackhammers) constantly.

An old EA support thread had a mod state that they "could not reproduce the issue" (even though every single person that had purchased the PC version had this problem) and that there would be no official fix.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES. Please, there had to have been a fix discovered or engineered between 2013 and now.
