cyberpunk resurgence

Given the state of our reality.

• memetic warfare on the internet.
• multinational corporations more powerful than most governments.
• nations hacking each other to influence elections, destroy nuclear power equipment, etc.

Don't you think it is time for cyberpunk to make a comeback into mainstream popular culture?

I think society could use some critique in a cybernetic wrapper.

i'm well aware of the coming blade runner sequel and GitS live action adaptation.
