Recent college graduate interested in a intelligence/national security career

Hey everyone, I am a recent college graduate (2016) with the above mentioned career interests. I just completed a stint as a counterterrorism analyst and am fully realizing the difficulty of landing a job in intelligence, counterterrorism, etc fields. This has led to an interest in the Navy, particularly intelligence.

My issue here is fully committing to life in the military (I guess growing up I never really saw myself in the military), and was hoping those of you with experience can offer tips or advice moving forward. I appreciate all the help.
