[CONFLICT] Uganda retakes the Iganga

Conflict

The Ugandan government has decided to launch an offensive into the Iganga region to retake it from these Islamic fundamentalist terrorists. This will involve immense strength on our part but it is necessary to keep our nation together.

President Mao has initiated a total sweep of the area with the following forces. We expect to retake Iganga fairly quickly

The Mujahidin, now with about 2,000 fighters, of course used their knowledge of the land for guerilla warfare, with many Ugandan soldiers cut down in the jungle. There has been excessive violence against civilians of opposing religions by both sides, the government burnt down some houses containing rebels. The war is announced a success by the Ugandan government within a month, with the Jihadists captured or killed, and only a few holdouts in the jungle.

Casualties:

Uganda - 963

Mujahidin - 2,024

Civilians - 4,110
