An introduction and feeling relieved today...

New here

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while and decided I need to stop being shy and introduce myself. I'm in Alberta, Canada, and this is my first pregnancy. I've been apprehensive about it because I'm 37 years old, soon to be 38. I just had my nuchal translucency u/s today as well as the results of the screening blood test and it looks like baby is screening negative for DS, trisomy 13 and trisomy 18, so that is a relief. We are just waiting a few days until the first trimester is officially over before announcing to friends, our close family already knows. I'm looking forward to meeting you and participating more in the forum :)
