FFXI/dgVoodoo Users Help!

So after buying a new gaming laptop, configuring, finally getting Windower to run properly, run into the dreaded nVidia Optimus issue. I followed the thread on here for using dgVoodoo 2 and booted it up perfectly, running awesome at 60fps in Adoulin... until cursor disappears and now it crashes intermittently....

Anyone else running dgVoodoo 2 have these issues and know the answer? 100k gil reward!
