[Question] Found some kind of weed product?

Recently the snow melted, and in a big pile of snow near our front yard was a sealed silicone container that reeks of weed. We opened it and inside is a dark dark brown, almost black, syrupy substance. It looks and behaves like very thick chocolate syrup. Any clues what it could be? Too thick to be vape juice, but probably too liquidy to be dab? Any ideas?

We gave it to a friend who is super into weed, he wasn't sure either but plans to try it after a little more examination. We figure our neighbor lost it, since he's a huge pothead and it was in the yard between our houses.

edit: He smoked a tiny amount, said it tastes nothing like weed but definitely contains weed and it fairly high from it.
