White supremacy is a zero sum game. On why we need to be more "militant"

Race

PAAs and other Asian activists got upset at Tilda Swinton and Emma Stone for taking roles that we believed should be played by Asian actors. To me this is just pointless; why would these white actors give up on possible movie roles? It’s like lecturing white men on white privilege, even if they are aware they are not stupid enough to let go of it and gimp themselves in the process.

Despite being fruitless endeavors, activists still do that because we as human beings believe in something call empathy, we hope others would empathize with our plight and thus do the right thing. It’s like when an Asian feminist write about being fetishized and hope her white male readers would empathize with her and thus do the right thing and stop fetishizing AF. But we all know she is wasting her time. Western society simply do not have enough empathy towards Asians to begin with. The most important thing many of these PAA activists failed to realize is that white supremacy is a zero-sum game. In order for whites to stay on top there needs to be others to stay at the bottom. Therefore, they are more inclined not to help you because by doing so they are stripping away their white privilege, after all, minority gain is white pain. In the case of Tilda Swinton, even if she feels empathic towards the mistreatment of Asian actors in Hollywood, in the end personal gain as a result of white privilege trumps any moral decency she has.

So please stop trying to appeal to any empathy white society might have for us.

Instead of asking white actors to stop taking our roles, boycott these movies. Do not give them any of your hard earned money.

Instead of asking white execs to have more Asians in managerial positions, help each other out, be nepotistic.

Instead of asking and hoping white men would stop fetishizing you, give them the finger and tell them to fuck off.

Instead of lecturing white men on white privilege, take that privilege and make it your own.

On that last one, how are we going go about accomplishing that? I recalled in an episode of the Tales of Mangrilla podcast, Al described an Uncle Chan as someone who does not have Asian welfare as their primary interest. For the longest time I didn’t see the significance in that, but now I realized just how important it is for us first and foremost, to have Asian interest in our mind always and ahead of everyone else’s. This is something that many PAAs just don’t get. We need to have each other’s back in this dog eat dog world.

"But my white bf/gf/bff isn’t like that!"

No shit there are white people that are empathetic toward our plights, but as a whole white society are not willing to give up their white privilege, this is why the orange man is elected.

You want to be equal in this white supremacist society? You don’t ask them to share their privilege, no one is stupid enough to do that, you take it through actions.
