ADD meds and psoriasis?

Does anyone have an opinion on ADD meds with psoriasis? My son has recently been diagnosed with ADD and I am now considering medication for that. He does however have "moderate" psoriasis both guttate and plaque. I'm concerned about the effect of ADD medicines on his poor body. He's struggling at home and at school. I'm concerned for his emotional wellbeing or I wouldn't be considering it.
