Carpet remnant as area rug over ceramic tile...

With a baby on the way we have a house thats mostly hard ceramic tiles.

We bought a 12x12 carper remnant for 60 bucks at home depot to use as a large area rug in the living room...

Whats the easiest way to put carpet trim around the "rug" ... dogs already starting to bite the corners.

Thanks
