Just over 2 weeks out and some questions

The water proof surgical tape just came off today for me! It was a bit nerve wracking as I had kinda been viewing it as a safety net. So far the area is very pink (I'm assuming because my skin is irritated from the tape removal). The doctor told me to keep the area moisturized and put vitamin e oil on twice a day. What moisturizers did you guys use? I used aloe today, and it felt weird to rub it over the area. The incisions feel a bit bumpy. Do they flatten out?
