Going up and into distillation column tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous, any advice?

This is my first time climbing a tower and going inside. Does anyone have any safety tips or general advice? Can anyone tell me what a typical tower tour is like? I know it's over 100 feet, but I'm not sure how far down into it we go.
