Tip for Dust Reward: in term of usable dust count, just craft the 3 golden commons if you don't have them.
Dust Value Table:
| Type | Disenchant | Create |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 5 | 40 |
| Golden C | 50 | 400 |
| Rare | 20 | 100 |
| Golden R | 100 | 800 |
| Legendary | 400 | 1600 |
| Golden L | 1600 | 3200 |
Crafting golden cards, if you do NOT have the copies, will be FREE, since the full dust value is returned when the rotation comes.
If you just want to increase your usable dust (dust count at the bottom right), however, because common is the only card type with a difference in dust cost between creating normal version(40) and disenchanting golden version(50), it is the only card type that can be exploited to actually get more dust.
Clarification:
Gain in Dust refers to the gain in usable dust count (i.e. the dust count at the bottom right).
Whenever "craft golden version" is referred to, I am assuming that you DO NOT have extra copies of golden cards(i.e. 2 per non-legendary, 1 per legendary).
Option 1: Have normal version, NO golden version and do NOT craft golden version. Only source(s) of dust is refund, and if you disenchant your normal version.
Gain in Dust per card
| Type | Refund | Disenchant Normal |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 40 | 5 |
| Rare | 100 | 20 |
| Legendary | 1600 | 400 |
Option 2: Have normal version, craft golden version and disenchant golden version. Cost of golden version cancels out by refund, only source of dust is disenchantment.
Gain in Dust per card
| Type | Disenchant Golden | Disenchant Normal |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 50 | 5 |
| Rare | 100 | 20 |
| Legendary | 1600 | 400 |
Option 3: Have normal version, craft golden version and KEEP golden version. Cost of golden version cancels out by refund, only source of dust is disenchantment.
Gain in Dust per card
| Type | Disenchant Normal |
|---|---|
| Common | 5 |
| Rare | 20 |
| Legendary | 400 |
Conclusion:
Given you DO NOT have the golden copies. Both rare and legendary cards give the same amount of dust back whether you choose to craft golden versions or not. Common cards CAN give extra 10 dust per copy if you craft the golden version then disenchant your golden version.
TL;DR:
Craft golden commons (power overwhelming, conceal, ice lance) if you DO NOT have the golden versions. Craft golden rare and legendaries ONLY IF you have enough dust to do so AND DO NOT have extra golden versions.
To get the extra 10 dust per golden common you would craft the golden commons then disenchant the golden commons AFTER you receive the refund.
