The time I got pulled over with shrooms

Long post, but worth it.

So this happened around 4 years ago or so. It was a gorgeous day and so my friends and I went to get some shrooms. We pick them up in my truck and as I am leaving I see a cop coming toward us. Then he proceeds to flip a bitch right after passing my truck and comes right behind me and turns on his lights. I'm like fuck.

My friend in the passenger seat literally turns to my friend in the back and yells "EAT THE SHROOMS!!!" My friend then proceeds to grab the bag of shrooms and open them and starts to grab a handful when I'm like "Dude stop! It's fine I'll get us out of this, hide everything under the seat and I'll talk to the cop"

I pull over and the cop comes up to my truck, walking extremely slow and looking through my back windows. I literally stick my head out the window and say "How's it going officer?" He proceeds to tell me that he saw my inspection sticker was out and what/where we were going.

I tell him that we went to see a movie and we're heading back to my friends house. Now keep in mind I am pretty damn nervous but I've learned over the years just to be respectful to cops and so I say yes sir and no sir and all that shit. He then proceeds to ask me what movie we saw.

This is no lie, but I paused for a solid 10 sec trying to think of a movie because I had not been to the movies in forever. At the exact same time I say "Godzilla" and my friend says "X-men". I immediately try to cover it up by saying "Oh we we're going to see X-men but it was sold out so we had to see Godzilla." The cop goes "Oh that's cool. How was it?" I was like it was really really good.

The cop then was just like ok well I'm going to give you a warning, just get your inspection done, hands me my drivers license and insurance and says "Y'all have a good Memorial Day!"

I was in legitmate shock and just said "Yes sir, thank you." Grabbed my shit and drove off.

If you get pulled over. Turn off your car. Put the keys on the dashboard. If it's at night turn on your inside lights. Make sure you have your license and registration in your lap when he walks up. Have your window rolled down and place both hands on steering wheel.

Every single time I have done this I have not gotten a ticket. I've heard that its a sign that you know a cop or something, or it could just be a good sign of respect, but either way it works!

Needless to say this was the last time I took shrooms. I have no problem with drugs whatsoever but I found out that day that my life is more important than risking it for shrooms.
