Loss of faith

Growing up I always had very strong faith I recall even shocking some people at my church with my knowledge of the bible.But now I don't really know what or if I believe anymore. I feel like a lost sheep abandoned by his shepherd and I don't know where home is. I don't know if I'm stepping into the light or the darkness and could use some advice.
