Instances of poorly-executed Foley work that took you out of a movie?
Saw Hoosiers for the first time a month or two ago and I still can't get this one bit of the movie out of my head. There's a bit where Gene Hackman's character throws a punch at an opposing player and the sound they decided to put in was "Generic Punch Sound #1" at a volume that overshadowed the ambient noise and music. It felt so weird to me that they left it like that in the film.
What's your favorite (or least favorite) sound effect mishap?
