Android pay with Fingerprint Nougat NOT WORKING

I tried using Android pay today and tried to authorize the payment using finger print and it didn't go through.. Tried couple of times.. Later I entered the pin code (unlock phone/screen code) and it worked.. Does anyone have same issue? Is there a fix for this?

Thanks
