Someone stole my phone in a store
I set my phone down on a shelf in a store. I didn't realize it until I got home. I called the store and asked them if they could look around (it was a small retail store). They said no one found it. I went in the next day to talk to someone about pulling up security footage to see who took it. The manager said that they don't have access to it and that it's stores at their home office (its North Dakota, I'm in ohio) and it's erased every 48 hours. Since it was saturday, by the time someone got the message it would be too late. It got me thinking, is the manager full of it or could she be telling the truth? Why would a store keep the footage for only 2 days and is it even possible for the footage to be stored that far away???
