Just a regular ol' type me
Im a 15 year old male with a basic understanding of MBTI. I like taking test but I dont think any of them are accurate due to self bias at this point. Originally typed as an INTP, ISTP and ISTJ are other common type I get. I copy and pasted this so sorry if something messes up.
-
What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type? My type I think I am seems to change depending on my mood. All I know is basic stereotypes of the types so I've also grow to dislike some types (INTP and INFP).
-
What do you yearn for in life? Why? I dont really want anything material. What I really yearn for is too be the best version of me. I often daydream about a perfect version of myself which has all the traits that I strive for (self-discipline, leadership, sociable). All I really want would to be as close as possible to that perfect version of myself.
-
Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way. I feel good when I have successful social interactions, such as making people laugh or just hanging out. I wouldnt say Im a sociable person and Im pretty awkward so I value times when I successful socialize. I also like when I demonstrate my self discipline usually by sticking to things and getting stuff done, such as working out regularly and finishing work before its due.
-
What makes you feel inferior? Being in a group where someone else is clearly the leader. As I mentioned before I admire leadership and I envy people who seem to have that naturally. Not calling the shots literally makes me feel like an inferior. I also make myself feel inferior at times when I start getting lonely. I dwell on my flaws and psyche myself out often.

What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.) For quick and small decisions its just what I feel. For large decisions I want to say pro-cons, but thats oversimplified. its more accurately about impact. One con can outweigh all pros and vice versa so I generally decide in terms of what impact something will have.
-
When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome? My emphasis is literally getting the work done. I want to meet all requirements before I have to deal with any other decisions such as how something looks. i dont like doing work, but I definitely like control. I dont trust others as much as myself and I sometimes get nervous putting things in their hands. When its a group project I also emphasize who does what. I dont like people getting away with doing less than me and want everyone to do an equal amount.
-
Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it? I remember after school going to my friends house with a group of four or so and playing monopoly. We just played around while also being fairly competitive. My memory of it was just laughing and talking, just having a good time. I also won :).
-
When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc) I have a pretty good memory and on tests I seem to be able to scrape together everything I remember. But when memorizing I need to be able to do it myself. For example in math its no use for me to remember formulas. I have to first solve problems by myself using those formulas and then I'll be able to remember. So basically Im hands on with a fairly good memory.
-
How organized do you to think of yourself as? Meh. Organization is something I have started to work at only after going to high school. My concern is more so having my act together. In that sense im organized. Im not organized in the my room is always clean, my notes are color coded kinda way.
-
How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it? I see no reason not to be open-minded. When presented with new ideas the two things I do are try to see evidence or reasoning behind it and compare it to current ideas. The point of ideas are to make something better so I compare why this new idea is any better than the old one.
-
You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself? I dont really think its up to me to keep harmony. I have this idea in my head that above all I want to be a genuinely good guy like a stereotypical movie protagonist. So i guess my only concern would be my own values and being myself.
-
Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions? I think before I speak. I dont rehearse it or anything but in my head I know what my points are. I prefer any communication in which I can easily interject myself, which would be one-on-one or small groups. I would love to be good in all social interactions but im horrible at knowing when to speak and I often just end of being silent or accepting Im not going to say anything. I also enjoy presentations because then I know exactly what I want to say. I often fins during presentations I become more comfortable and therefore more charismatic and witty.
-
Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words? I definitely think before leaping. I admire people of action, but I dont really consider myself one I generally think things out even if just for a little while. I will say though that I dislike people who have to be absolutely sure of things. When thinking becomes indecisiveness it starts to bother me.

It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do? If I was invited anywhere with a lot of people I would be nervous. However knowing myself I would feel like crap if I stay home and do nothing instead of accepting an invite. I dont want to seem like I accept all invites. I know I feel bad after turning down invites from plenty of experience and I often make the safe choice of going home.
-
How do you act when you're stressed out? Not really sure, I dont really get stressed. I do all the work thats needs doing on time. I guess my answer would be nervous or anxious.
-
What makes you dislike the personalities of some people? The two things I dislike in people most are bad character and lack of common sense. Absolutely nothing is more disgusting than people who are genuinely bad people. I make pretty quick and fickle judgments of people that are simply good person or bad person. I also hate dealing with irrational people, but I have plenty of friends in this category so its not as bad.
-
Is there anything you really like talking about with other people? I cant really think of anything specific. I dont really enjoy small talk and like when my conversation goes a little deeper. What if questions or peoples hobbies are pretty fun to discuss. You also cant go wrong with anything funny.
-
What kind of things do pay the least attention to in your life? Well this is obviously a hard question. I would say other peoples drama is something I dont care for. No one really seeks out to tell me about their drama though so its fine
-
How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? What would your friends never say about your personality? I dont really know how others see me which is why I think MBTI is so interesting. Like I said originally my perception of myself changes with mood. How I think others see me also changes with mood. My friends would NEVER describe me as emotional and I think a lot of people dont see how much feeling goes on in my head. Of course I never show this so I guess its my own fault. Most everyone would probably describe me as an introvert aswell. I dont necessarily disagree, but I feel as I get older the more outgoing I get so I think I am close to the middle of that spectrum.
-
You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing? Nothing really specific. I would want to hang out with friends in some way be it by going to the park or even playing a video game together. I can enjoy being by myself but when you look back at what youve done you realize you basically wasted time.
