Coffee master tips?

Hi guys! I just started at Starbucks about two months ago, but I'm really interested in eventually getting a coffee master certification, because I love my job and want to do the best that I can at it and excel as much as I can as a partner, and I was wondering if there was anything I could start doing now to get ready to take that next step? I'm just super curious about the process and how much time it takes, other partners' experiences with it, and how it has improved/changed your day to daywork life.
