Does anyone else get abit annoyed when some people refuse to even say the word Northern Ireland?

Just to clarify im not some extreme unionist DUP type, im pretty moderate. That being said i don't understand why some nationalists (not all) refuse to even say the word "northern Ireland", i mean you saying that word doesn't make you less irish or even supportive of partition.

If people don't want to recognize and support an "artificial state" by saying its name is it not a bit inconsistent to then take office it said state's government? im fair in what im saying or im a just some ignorant orange bigot?
