My roommates and I [22-25F] are having serious issues with our other roommate[28? M] because he has really poor hygene and lifestyle habits

Alright. So. Let me start off by saying this situation is spiraling out of hand and I need advice.

This whole ridiculous situation began three weeks ago has it really only been 3 weeks??? when three french girls moved into my tiny apartment and then the Man moved in a few days after them.

Immediately, there was a Noticeable smell about the guy but he said that he knew it and apologized but apparently before finding this place he lived in a hostel. Okay, whatever, we all figured that once he took a shower it would dissipate.

WE WERE FUCKING WRONG. I don't know how to relay this to you guys without sounding dramatic or mean but holy shit, this is by far the worst BO I have ever smelt. And its persistent. In just a few days our whole apartment reeked of him. When he goes to the bathroom it genuinely smells like a sewage pipe burst in there. Everytime. I know when he's in the bathroom even when im in my room ( the farthest room from the toilet) becuase the entire place smells so bad I gag.

Okay. So for me thats the main problem. For my roommates its that but also the fact that he seemingly REFUSES to clean his dishes and also that he is a Male Escort and has a Sleep in the Day and Work in the Night lifestyle. Unfortunately, our apartment isnt huge so you can hear, very loudly, when the door opens and closes, which it does several times a night when he leaves. He also cooks at all hours of the night, 2, 4 ,5 ,6 am, doesnt matter, hes cooking.

Now all of us are in Business School and otherwise employed so the girls all get up around 630 am. Which means we need sleep. Which we don't get when we can hear (and smell) his every move all night long.

Alright, so thats the long and short of it. We have tried talking to him about all points, going as far as making apartment rules that state the necessity for hygiene, quiet hours and general kitchen up keep. Nothing has changed.

As far as I can see, the only options are A) deal with it; B) ask him to move out.

I need more input. What do you think we can do?

tl;dr: Smelly, loud, unkempt roommate is making 4 of the other housemates extremely uncomfortable and upset. Need solutions so we can all sleep and enjoy our home.

EDIT: I have spoken to the roommates and we are going to ask him to move out on Monday. There is a "proper hygiene" clause in all of our contracts so if he decides to make a problem we can always cite that with the landlord.

One more help request: What should we say? How do we talk to him about this?
