The Lord Ruler (Mistborn Spoilers)

Spoiler

I'm so sick of people saying Rashek the Lord Ruler is a villain in my opinion the series clearly demonstrates he did the right thing and actually saved the world. As early as Book one the seed is planted when with his dying words he warns them that they have doomed themselves. Throughout the second book we find out that when Rashek took the power of the well and reshaped the world he did it to save them from The Deepness and ruin. He moves the well and keeps himself alive for a millennium so he can be there to take the power again so it doesn't fall into Ruin's hands.

Ruin had manipulated the prophecies for ages to get someone to free his power and if they had everyone would have died. Rashek saved the world, then Kelsier and Vin come along a pair of treacherous Mistborn who plot to topple the Final Empire and the Lord Ruler and kill the best chance the world had at survival. Vin fell for the same old Bullshit Alendi fell for and even with Preservation guiding her she fucked up and gave Ruin the power. Now I'm only halfway through book 3 so I'm hoping for a happy ending but gosh darnit I don't understand all this BM for the greatest hero the mistborn world ever knew.

TL:DR Lord Ruler Rashek did nothing wrong he saved the world and was planning to do so again Vin and Kelsier ruined everything and only doomed the world.
