Real life pirates vs Pirates of the Caribbean
A group of modern Somalian pirates (let's say 10 of them) with a large fishing vessel as a mothership and 3 skiffs, armed with AK-47s, RPGs, and hand grenades. Like a larger crew than the one you see in the Captain Phillips movie, for reference.
In all scenarios, they have just left port and must make it to the next port 500 miles away.
-
They carry the last Aztec gold coin. Black Pearl is in hot pursuit.
-
They have the Dead Man's chest but don't know its significance. The Flying Dutchman is chasing them.
-
They have both the coin and the chest. Both the Pearl and the Dutchman are after them. The East India Trading Company has 50 ships scattered along their route and want to kill them too, but they also want to destroy the Pearl and Dutchman as a higher priority.
-
They have the chalices. The Queen Anne's Revenge is after them.
Bonus rounds: could the Somalian pirates successfully board and take over the Pearl (living crew), Dutchman (they know about the chest, and it's on board the Dutchman) or take Blackbeard's sword?
