Getting a Switch at Bestbuy.ca

PSA

For everyone who is still looking to get a switch i would recommend this neat little trick which i used to pre-order a switch today.

So first a little background info. Best buy has sold a ton of preorders and some of them are canceling the preorder. These go almost instantly back into the bowl and you have to be quick to snatch one up.

So if you are refreshing the product page over and over you are prob not gonna have much luck because it requires a lot of effort and steps into getting it.

First make sure your billing/shipping address and credit card adres is set up and default in your account and you memorized the 3 digit code at the back of your card.

Now that thats done you need to get the switch into your cart. right click on the grey-ish Add to cart and click on inspect element. this will show you the HTML code of the page. with the button part selected. Delete the "disabled" part within the class tag. click somewhere else and the button should turn into the blue active button. Click it to add 1 to the cart (more is prob gonna be a waste of your time). You will get the popup of the warranty and that is up to you but why pay for something that is not broken. Add the switch to your cart and the first step is sorted.

Next you can click on Checkout but it will most likely give you the (0107) error. The good thing about this is that every time you do. the page refreshes. Thats what we need.

Now we need a Autoclicker. Windows and mac set it up to about 6 seconds and let it click ahead on the checkout button while you watch a movie or something on the side while keeping an eye on the cart/checkout. So now if a Switch comes available it will push you to the last checkout page. If everything is done right you have everything set up and you can fill in the 3 digit CVV code.

once you get the mail it should be good! I tried it during breaktime at work and went to the last page twice and had the switch after about an hour. (first try failed because of a wrong adres set to default)

Good luck!
