Back to iOS

Recently switched from a Nexus 6P to an iPhone 7+. I'm pretty fickle with my mobile os of choice usually switching between android and iOS yearly. Initial thoughts :

  • iMessage just has a certain oomph to it that other messaging apps do not
  • Haptic engine in the 7+ is unreal. Didn't realise this level of vibration sophistication was possible. (Bars)
  • Consistency of software design. How I wish android could achieve this.
  • Standby time blows my 6P out of the water.
  • No headphone jack, didn't think this would be a big deal until you get handed the aux cord.
  • Being unable to select default app preferences
  • Lack of widget support on the home screen Last but certainly not least check out the deal I scored for my black 32gb iPhone 7+. Rogers gave me 100 dollars of store credit afterwards which I used on 2 Spigen cases, the iPad power adapter and a glass screen protector. I traded in my Nexus 6P and caught a free iPhone weekend promotion all at the same time.
