Redditors that have done the W in Torres del Paine: I need your insights! (particularly if you've done it in low season)

I'll be heading to South America in early May and am looking into doing the W hike in Torres del Paine. I have a few questions:

1. How difficult is it to get there to and from Puerto Natales to the park during the low season?

2. How easy is it to rent camping gear? Is it affordable?

3. I'll be backpacking for 4 months and heading North to warmer climates immediately after. Can I buy cheap warm clothes and boots in Puerto Natales that I can dispose of/donate as soon as I'm done?
