How to stop Split pushers with a slow wave clear champ

What can I do vs champs who just want to split push all game and can wave clear easily while I am playing a champion who can't match their wave clear speed.

I feel like if I even leave the lane for a second they are beating down my turret and will be taking my inhib before I get back from helping my team take objectives, or tping bot lane for a gank.

How can I punish a split pusher. Or how can I just stop them with a non split pusher who just wants to group as 5 and fight.
