Ideas On The World Event

So I bet a lot of people playing have seen the event section on the challenge list. Just wondering what everyone thought this event might be.

I was thinking maybe when one faction has territory next to another factions base it might kick off the event for everyone to take part in. But it could very possibly be something else. What do you all think? I'm interested to hear other people's theories.
