Suddenly no internet/network connection both wireless and wired

Solved

PC specs:

Windows 10 i7 6900K 32GB RAM AV: Bitdefender Network connection: Cisco AM10 wireless USB, and also tried hardwired through the Intel 1218-V NIC

Symptoms:

Was using the computer last night, internet went out. Went on my phone and internet appeared not to work on there also. So I reset modem and router a few times, no luck. Went to bed, woke up other computers in the house worked fine on the internet and local network. But my desktop can not connect to the internet or even ping anything on the network.

When I attempt to ping I get general failure in the CMD. Can't even ping the router. The computer does get an IP address from the DHCP, and the MAC address is listed in the routers DHCP table.

I reinstalled network drivers, rebooted, did a release renew, flushed DNS cache, disable AV and windows firewall, nothing helps.

Then I tried a hardwire cable. The cable I have isn't very long so I had to use an extension link to connect 2 cables together. At first it didn't work, then 10 minutes later randomly my computer can load webpages but things like skype and steam don't load. Then the connection dies. Wondering if the cable might be shorted or something? Still that doesn't really explain the partial internet connectivity that happened for a few minutes. ! mark was in task tray near the network icon, so something was up. But as of right now on wireless windows thinks all is good, no ! mark near the wireless connection.

Any suggestions?
