Something that I've been thinking about a lot lately

I'm a sex-repulsed asexual. I grew up in a very conservative Christian home where my parents would never talk about sex, even in jokes, or in passing remarks.

Lately, I can't help but wonder if I would still be ace if my family was different. Like, I realize that sexuality comes from a mix of genetics and experience, but I'm wondering if I would still be the same under different circumstances.
